Why Choose The Blueprint Edition?
We utilise a dual-technology approach to ensure the assessment is age-appropriate:
-
Under 7s (Reception–Year 2): We use GL Assessment (digital). This is picture-based and audio-led, allowing us to measure natural potential without requiring advanced reading skills.
-
Over 7s (Year 3–Year 5): We utilise Atom Learning gold standard technology—the same adaptive engine used by top UK senior schools—to benchmark them against national 11+ standards.
Why choose this assessment?
-
Find the Right Environment: Stop guessing about school culture. Our data reveals your child's natural learning profile, helping you decide if you should target a highly competitive "Academic Hothouse" or a confidence-building "Pastoral" school.
-
The "Early Warning" System: We catch gaps years before they become problems. By benchmarking against national data now, you can fix foundational issues in Reading or Number Bonds while they are still easy to correct.
-
Admissions-Grade Data: You will receive the exact "Standardised Age Score" (SAS) that Prep schools use. It is the only way to know if a future "Scholarship" route is realistic.

Strategy gives you the compass. The Blueprint gives you the map and the destination.
The Blueprint Edition is our premium service for families who want to remove the guesswork entirely. While The Strategy focuses on readiness (how to get in), The Blueprint solves the complex problem of selection (exactly where to go).
The "Insider" Advantage Navigating the independent school sector in London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent is overwhelming. "Google" is not a strategy, and the noisiest schools on the internet are not always the best schools for your child.
Having worked inside leading Prep schools, I know that the glossy brochures often look identical. But the daily reality is vastly different. I use my insider experience to look past the marketing.
In the Blueprint Edition, I take the burden of research off your shoulders. I combine the hard data from your Bryant Education Pathways Diagnostic with a deep understanding of the school landscape to curate a shortlist that actually fits.
I know the difference between a school that just has a sports field, and one where your child will truly excel in Sport. I know which schools are rigorous "Academic Hothouses," and which are creative hubs where a child will be pushed in Drama, Art, and Music to find their voice.
I ensure the shortlist aligns with your child’s true reality—academically, creatively, and pastorally—not just a league table.
The Difference: You are not just getting a plan to build academic foundations; you are getting a forensic market analysis. I deliver a curated, detailed shortlist of 4 schools that match your child’s academic profile and developing personality. I do the heavy lifting: comparing pastoral cultures, analysing specific entry requirements (from play-based observations to formal 7+/8+ exams), and verifying intake numbers to ensure we aren't chasing closed doors. I check the admissions probability for every option and hand you a shortlist you can trust.
The Consultation Agenda:
- Phase 1: The Strategy Call (60 Mins): We review the Diagnostic data (GL or Atom), define your "Best Fit" criteria (e.g., Co-ed vs. Single Sex, Sporty vs. Creative), and set the search parameters.
- Phase 2: The Research (Internal): I stress-test potential schools against your child’s data profile to create your shortlist, ensuring we align with schools where your child will thrive, not just survive.
- Phase 3: The Handover (Digital + Delayed Check-in): You receive your full reports via email. We then schedule a focused 20-Minute Implementation Check-in (2–4 weeks later) to answer any final questions once you have visited the schools.
The Deliverables:
You leave this process with a complete admissions toolkit:
- The Bryant Education Pathways Diagnostic Insight Report: The formal, industry-standard breakdown of your child's raw academic results (SAS).
- The Bespoke 90-Day Action Plan: Your manual for academic readiness and habit building.
- The "Focus List" Report: A comprehensive research dossier on your top 4 Target Schools. This includes a side-by-side comparison of entry requirements, ethos, and school culture, giving you the clear data you need to choose with confidence.

Blueprint Edition
What To Expect
The Context
You complete my proprietary intake framework. For Blueprint clients, this is our most detailed plan. I need to know your commute limits, your "non-negotiables" (e.g., excellence in Sport, Drama, or SEN support), and the specific school culture you desire. This ensures I don't just find "good" schools; I find the right schools.
The Evidence (Dual-Tech Approach)
We deploy the assessment strictly calibrated to your child’s age:
- Under 7s (Rec–Y2): The BEP Foundation Diagnostic (GL Assessment). Audio-led and picture-based to test potential without reading barriers.
- Over 7s (Y3–Y5): The BEP Adaptive Benchmark (Atom Learning). The gold-standard engine used to map their ceiling of potential against national 11+ standards.
The Audit
I cross-reference your family requirements with your child's data. I look for the "hidden narrative"—identifying not just where they can get in, but where they will flourish. I screen for potential disconnects between your "Wish List" and the reality of the data.
The Consultation — "The Direction Session"
We meet via Google Meet to review the reality of your options. We define the search parameters, agree on the academic tactics for the next 12 weeks, and you give me the "Green Light" to start the search.
The Research Phase — "The Shortlisting"
I go to work. I stress-test potential schools against your child’s data profile. I filter for academic fit, pastoral reputation, and logistics. I whittle the market down to a balanced Final Shortlist:
- 1x Aspirational Option: The "Reach" school. Harder to get into, but possible if they hit their ceiling.
- 2x Solid Target Options: The "Perfect Fit" schools. Your child’s profile matches their intake criteria and culture perfectly.
- 1x Safe/Anchor Option: The "Guaranteed" school. A high-quality back-up to ensure you never finish the process empty-handed.
The Deliverable
I send you the full documentation package directly to your inbox. You will receive:
- The Diagnostic Insight Report
- The Bespoke 90-Day Action Plan
- The "Focus List" Report (Comparing your Top Schools)
Once you have had time to digest these documents, you book your 20-Minute Implementation Call (typically 2–4 weeks later) to ask any final questions and confirm your registration strategy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our Blueprint Edition and how we support your family's educational journey.
The Strategy is for families who already have a fixed list and just need the plan to get in. The Blueprint is for families who want to ensure they are aiming at the right targets. Many parents have a "wish list" based on local reputation. The Blueprint replaces that with a professional market analysis. Crucially, we dig deeper into the human side. Through our detailed Intake process, we understand your family's specific needs and your child holistically—looking beyond just grades to ensure the school culture fits their personality. We also provide an honest, unvarnished assessment of their academic ability from an independent source, giving you the clarity that school reports often miss.
This is one of the most common questions we answer. The "State vs. Independent" decision isn't just about results; it's about breadth of opportunity and the "Exit Ramp." In the Blueprint, we analyse whether your current school is likely to get you to your desired Senior School. Often, state schools are excellent for 11+ Grammar entry, but may lack the specific preparation required for highly competitive Independent Senior Schools (e.g. the ISEB Pre-Test). We look at the data to tell you if a move is necessary or just optional.
Then that is exactly what I will tell you. My role is to be an objective advisor, not a school salesperson. If our analysis shows that your child is happy, thriving, and perfectly on track for your target senior schools in their current environment, I will advise you to "stay put" and focus on specific enrichment at home instead. The goal is your child's success, not just moving them for the sake of it.
It is never the wrong time for clarity, but the balance between Blueprint and Strategy changes depending on your timeline:
- Reception – Year 2 (Capacity Building): We use The Blueprint to identify the right "All-Through" or "Prep" environment where your child’s character fits the ethos. The Action Plan focuses on foundations—reading richness, number fluency, and curiosity.
- Year 3 – Year 5 (Trajectory): We use The Blueprint to find schools for specific entry points (7+, 8+ or 10+). This is about finding the right environment, not panic. If you feel your current school isn't working, moves can often be accommodated quickly by leading Prep schools once you know your correct pathway. We help you identify those opportunities and make the switch seamlessly.
Absolutely. The diagnostic tools we use (GL and Atom) can help highlight discrepancies between a child’s verbal reasoning and their processing speed, often flagging "hidden" needs. During the Research Phase, I specifically search for schools with a proven SEN focus and infrastructure (such as CReSTeD accreditation or specialist Learning Development Units). I ensure we find a school that doesn't just "accept" your child, but has the specific provision to support them.
This is critical. A major part of the Prep School landscape is understanding the "Exit Routes." Some Prep schools are "feeders" for major boarding schools (like Eton or Tonbridge), while others specialise in the 11+ London Day School market. In the Blueprint, we analyse the "Leavers' Destinations" of your target schools. We ensure that the Prep School you choose today is a realistic pathway to the Senior School you want for tomorrow.
No ethical educationalist can give a legal guarantee of an offer.
However, our "Probability Management" protocol is designed
specifically to prevent you from finishing empty-handed.
We
never allow a "Moonshot-Only" list. By ensuring your shortlist
includes a "Safe/Anchor" option—where your child sits comfortably
above the academic baseline—we protect you from the risk of total
rejection.
Yes. In fact, this Blueprint is the "secret weapon" that makes our
BEP Precision Tutoring so powerful.
Most tutors waste the first 4–6 lessons simply trying to guess where
your child is struggling. We skip that stage entirely. Because we
have your assessment data AND your agreed
schools of interest we hand your tutor a forensic
"User Manual" for your child before they even say hello.
This allows us to deliver short,
high-energy 45-minute sessions—the optimal duration
for Prep School pupils to learn effectively without losing focus.
Your tutor stops guessing and starts fixing the specific gaps
relevant to those specific schools from Minute 1, Lesson 1.
You stop paying for guesswork.
You pay for qualified experts, daily data tracking, and rapid
results—plugging the gaps that allow for strong academic
foundations to be built.
