Why Choose The Blueprint Edition?

We utilise a dual-technology approach to ensure the assessment is age-appropriate:

  • Under 7s (Reception–Year 2): We use GL Assessment (digital). This is picture-based and audio-led, allowing us to measure natural potential without requiring advanced reading skills.

  • Over 7s (Year 3–Year 5): We utilise Atom Learning gold standard technology—the same adaptive engine used by top UK senior schools—to benchmark them against national 11+ standards.

Why choose this assessment?

  • Find the Right Environment: Stop guessing about school culture. Our data reveals your child's natural learning profile, helping you decide if you should target a highly competitive "Academic Hothouse" or a confidence-building "Pastoral" school.

  • The "Early Warning" System: We catch gaps years before they become problems. By benchmarking against national data now, you can fix foundational issues in Reading or Number Bonds while they are still easy to correct.

  • Admissions-Grade Data: You will receive the exact "Standardised Age Score" (SAS) that Prep schools use. It is the only way to know if a future "Scholarship" route is realistic.

Strategy gives you the compass. The Blueprint gives you the map and the destination.

The Blueprint Edition is the comprehensive solution for international families navigating the complex UK Secondary Schools (11+ and 13+ system).

While The Strategy focuses on readiness (how to get in), The Blueprint solves the single most difficult problem for relocating parents: 'Which specific schools are the right fit for my child, and how do we navigate the admissions maze to get there?

We move beyond "advice" to handle the full scope of your secondary transition. This includes everything in the Strategy Edition, plus a fully researched, forensic School Search to build your shortlist of 4 Target Schools—all rigorously filtered based upon your Bryant Education Pathways Diagnostic results and your in-depth Relocation Context (covering your move date, potential location, and family values).

The Difference

You are not just getting a list of websites; you are getting a Relocation Master-Plan.

I do the heavy lifting that is almost impossible to do from abroad. I stress-test your child's data against the specific entry requirements of top UK schools. Crucially, I filter for Availability, personally verifying which schools actually have seats for your specific timeline so you don't waste time applying to closed doors.

The Consultation Agenda

The "UK Reality" Check: We review the Diagnostic Report against the harsh reality of the UK cohort. Is your child 'Grammar School Ready' or a contender for a top Independent? We replace guesswork with evidence to define exactly which tier of school we will target.

The "School-First" Location Strategy: (Critical for Relocation). Many families make the mistake of renting a house before securing a school. We reverse this.

  • The Commuter Belt Debate: Surrey vs. Kent vs. London vs. Sussex.
  • The Boarding Question: Does a Boarding or Weekly Boarding option offer the stability your family needs?
  • The Catchment Reality: We identify where you need to live to make your target schools viable.

The "Curriculum Gap" Analysis: International students often have high potential but "low exposure" to UK testing methods. I pinpoint the specific gaps—such as Non-Verbal Reasoning (NVR) codes—that your current school hasn't taught, but UK schools require.

The Search Parameters (The Green Light): We agree on your "Non-Negotiables" (e.g. IB vs. A-Level, Co-ed vs. Single Sex, SEN support). You give me the "Green Light" on the specific profile we are targeting, and I begin the forensic School Search to build your shortlist.

The Deliverables

You leave this process with a complete admissions toolkit:

  1. The Bryant Education Pathways Diagnostic Insight Report: The formal, industry-standard breakdown of your child's raw academic results against UK norms.
  2. The Bespoke 90-Day Transition Plan: Your manual for academic readiness, specifically targeting international curriculum gaps (e.g., NVR/VR).
  3. The "Relocation Shortlist" & Roadmap: A comprehensive dossier on your Top 4 Target Schools. This includes a deep rationale for why they fit, a breakdown of specific exam formats, and a "Risk Rating" for admission—alongside a fully mapped timeline of registration deadlines and interview windows for every school on your list. (Note: Additional schools can be added to the research scope for a bespoke fee).

How It Works

1

The Context

You complete my proprietary intake framework. For Blueprint clients, this is our most detailed audit. I need to know your commute limits, your "non-negotiables" (e.g., IB Curriculum, Weekly Boarding, SEN support), and your visa timeline. This ensures I don't just find "good" schools; I find schools that fit your new life.

2

The Evidence — The BEP Adaptive Aptitude Assessment

Your child sits the Gold Standard assessment powered by Atom Learning. Results are benchmarked against data from over 100,000 pupils at leading UK schools, providing reliable insights into a student’s current academic standing and data on how they compare to other students.

3

The Audit

I cross-reference your family requirements with your child's data. I look for disconnects—for example, if you want a "Super-Selective Grammar" but the data suggests a "Pastoral Independent" is a better fit. I identify exactly where your child will thrive, not just where they will survive.

4

The Consultation — The Direction Session

We meet via Google Meet for 60 minutes to review the reality of your options. We define the geography (where to live), agree on the academic tactics for the next 12 weeks, and you give me the "Green Light" to start the deep search.

5

The Research Phase — The Viability Check

I go to work. I stress-test the market against your timeline. Crucially, I conduct 'Admissions Viability Checks' to identify which schools historically have occasional places or flexible 13+ intakes, ensuring we don't waste time targeting 'Closed Door' institutions.

  • 1x "Aspirational" (Reach): The "Dream" school. Harder to get into, but possible if they hit their ceiling.
  • 2x "Target" (Solid): The "Perfect Fit" schools. Your child’s profile matches their intake criteria perfectly.
  • 1x "Anchor" (Safe): The "Guaranteed" school. A high-quality back-up to ensure you never finish the process empty-handed.
6

The Deliverable

I send you the full documentation package directly to your inbox. You will receive:

  • The Diagnostic Insight Report
  • The Bespoke 90-Day Transition Plan
  • The in-depth "Focus List" Report (Comparing your Top 4 Schools)

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our Blueprint Edition and how we support your family's educational journey.

Yes. We look for the best academic environment for your child, whether that is a Grammar or an Independent school. However, strictly note: State Grammars are tied to your address. We cannot "place" you in a Grammar school from abroad. We can advise you on which catchment areas to move to, and assess if your child's data makes a Grammar application realistic.

Yes. This is called an "Occasional Place" search. Standard entry points are rigid, but vacancies pop up constantly. The Blueprint is essential here because I use my knowledge of the market to identify schools that historically have turnover, rather than wasting registration fees applying to schools that are already full.

Children develop at different rates. The Blueprint gives you a concrete plan for the next 12–18 months. While the strategic direction usually holds true, we recommend a simple "Data Check-Up" (a re-test) closer to the application deadline (Year 5/6) to confirm their academic trajectory hasn't shifted before you submit the final forms.

That is why we have the Refinement Call. The Shortlist is a collaboration, not a dictate. We set the parameters together (location, values, budget) in Phase 1 before I start looking. If you feel a school is "too far" or "too big" once you see the list, we discuss it in the follow-up and I will help you swap it for a viable alternative. The goal is a list you are excited about.

No ethical consultant can guarantee an offer. However, our "Probability Management" protocol is designed to prevent you from finishing empty-handed. We never allow a "Moonshot-Only" list. By ensuring your shortlist includes "Anchor" options—where your child sits comfortably above the academic baseline—we protect you from the risk of total rejection.

Yes. The vast majority of independent schools will. For many registrars, the interview is now as important as the written exam. They are hunting for "teachability," curiosity, and character—traits that are hard to show if a child is overwhelmed by nerves. The good news is that interview confidence is a skill that can be learned.
If this is a concern, you can add dedicated Interview Prep sessions after we have developed your pathway. These separate, one-to-one sessions allow us to work specifically on body language, voice projection, and how to handle "curveball" questions, ensuring your child walks into the room ready to shine rather than shrink.

Yes. For relocation, this is the difference between generic 'tuition' and a targeted 'campaign'. A standard tutor will just teach the subject (e.g., "Maths"). They won't know the specific "Curriculum Gaps"—like Non-Verbal Reasoning or UK-style creative writing—that international students invariably miss. The Strategy identifies these blind spots first. We then hand your BEP Precision Tutor a forensic "User Manual" for your child’s transition.

This means they stop guessing and start fixing specific gaps from Minute 1, Lesson 1. You don't pay for "discovery"—You stop paying for guesswork. You pay for qualified experts, daily data tracking, and rapid results.
